On 29 May, the Cinémathèque suisse celebrated the 80th anniversary of the Locarno Film Festival. The evening began with a screening of the documentary "From Crypto-Communism to Pornography" by Clémentine Meyer, which sheds light on the scandals and controversies that shaped the festival’s early years. This was followed by the screening of a second documentary: "Accompanying or Enduring Change", which explores the festival’s history through the testimonies of former staff members and festival-goers. The screening was followed by a discussion with the directors.
